The School of Social Transformation is committed to the interdisciplinary study of race, ethnicity, gender, class and justice. Our research draws from a variety of methodologies and integrates perspectives from the humanities, social sciences, the arts and natural sciences.
Key research areas include: sustainability, globalization, diasporic populations and communities, law and social policy, indigenous issues, terrorism, labor, violence, health, human rights, social entrepreneurship, community development, media, social movements, gender and racial formation, migration and immigration, science and technology, cultural theory and the arts.
