At the School of Social Transformation, we go beyond traditional academic boundaries to create meaningful social change. Our innovative school has brought together five fields of study and focused them around social justice.
What does this mean for you? When you graduate, you’ll be ready to implement social innovations that change the world, no matter who you work for. Our graduates have gone on to work in:
Internships at companies and organizations across the U.S.
First School of Social Transformation in the nation
Students in SST are eligible for 19 unique undergraduate and graduate scholarships that annually award more than $100,000.
No matter your major, you’ll study social justice with award-winning faculty from our five interdisciplinary fields. You will learn the historical, cultural and social forces that made our society what it is today and get the training you need to be a champion for equality and succeed in any career.
This report compares career outcomes and job satisfaction of humanities majors to other fields including social sciences, education, physical sciences and the arts. I think the data dispels the myth that many of our fields in SST do not prepare students for careers. Our transdiciplinarity is a plus.
