Gray Cavender Undergraduate Justice Studies Scholarship

Professor Gray Cavender served as an ASU faculty for 40 years. He played a key role in creating the nation's first PhD program in Justice Studies and served two terms as its director. Cavender established himself as an outstanding teacher and mentor, much admired by students. He also became a nationally and internationally recognized expert in crime, punishment and media coverage of justice issues. Your gift to the Gray Cavender Undergraduate Justice Studies Scholarship supports undergraduate students majoring in Justice Studies at the School of Social Transformation.

Pat Lauderdale Graduate Scholarship in Justice Studies

Pat Lauderdale served as an esteemed ASU faculty member for more than 40 years. He collaborated in creating the nation’s first university-wide PhD/JD program in justice studies, law and the social sciences and served as its director. Lauderdale’s research on the relationship between social deviance, law and diversity is recognized internationally. Your gift to the Pat Lauderdale Graduate Scholarship in Justice Studies supports doctoral students in the School of Social Transformation with a focus in Justice Studies.
